Samantha Blanton Samantha Blanton is a New York City–based dancer, educator, choreographer, and certified personal trainer recognized for her versatility in both commercial and contemporary dance. She is currently a company artist with Nitrogen the Company, where she continues to bring her athleticism, artistry, and dynamic performance quality to the stage. As an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer, Samantha integrates strength training, dance-specific conditioning, and cross-disciplinary movement practices into her work, helping develop both physical resilience and mental focus to meet the demands of a professional performance career.

A graduate of the Boston Conservatory at Berklee with a BFA in Contemporary Dance, Samantha trained extensively in Horton, Limón, Graham, West African Dance, salsa, contemporary, tap, jazz, musical theater, improvisation, commercial dance styles, and pedagogy. She further honed her versatility and precision through formal Precision Dance training with the Radio City Rockettes. Throughout her collegiate and professional training, she collaborated with renowned artists and educators including Taylor Wickham, Kenichi Kasamatsu, Larry Sousa, Aaron Tolson, Jim Viera, and Derick K. Grant. She has also performed works by acclaimed choreographers including Gustavo Ramírez Sansano, Jennifer Archibald, Victor Quijada, Kurt Douglas, Joe González, and Norbert De La Cruz III.

Born and raised in Wheeling, Samantha began dancing at the age of two at Turn It Out Dance Academy, where she trained competitively for over 15 years in a wide range of styles. Growing up in a small town instilled in her the ambition, discipline, and work ethic that continue to shape her career today. Alongside her performance career, Samantha is a passionate educator and choreographer with experience teaching dancers of all ages through National Dance Alliance camps, studio intensives, and competitive programs. Known for her grounded artistry, adaptability, and strong collaborative presence, she continues to build a career that bridges both concert and commercial dance worlds.
