ABOUT SAMI

Samantha Blanton is a versatile dancer and educator, recognized for her expertise in both commercial and contemporary dance. Her training in cross-disciplinary techniques and dance-specific plyometrics has strengthened both her physical resilience and mental focus, allowing her to meet the demands of a dynamic performance career.

She honed her versatility and precision through formal training in Precision Dance under the Radio City Rockettes, and at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, where she studied Horton, Limón, Graham, West African Dance, Salsa, contemporary and ballet partnering, improvisation, and choreography. During this time, she collaborated with artists including Kurt Douglas, Victor Quijada, Joe González, Gustavo Ramírez Sansano, Amarisa LeBar, Norbert De La Cruz, and Jenifer Archibald. She continues to bring her experience and artistry to the stage as a member of Nitrogen the Company.

Born and raised in Wheeling, West Virginia, Samantha began her artistic journey at Turn It Out Dance Academy. Starting at just two years old, she trained across multiple dance styles and developed advanced technique through the National Dance Alliance high school program. Growing up in a small town instilled in her the ambition and work ethic that continue to drive her career today.
